This rugged and powerful mobile plate reader camera reads plates day or night, in all weather conditions, and from all 50 U.S. states, as well as most foreign countries.  Lightning fast reads alert officers instantly when a plate matches a hotlist of suspect vehicles while our advanced plate reader software identifies the make, type and color of each vehicle.

The alarm data includes:

  • Date/time stamps
  • GPS coordinates
  • Image of the license plate
  • Vehicle make, type and color

The Mobile Plate Hunter ALPR system can be mounted on patrol cars, capturing license plate numbers throughout an entire shift. If a suspect license plate number is read, audible and visual alarms alert the officer within milliseconds of license plate capture.

Cameras, a processing unit and proprietary software allow operators to capture images of license plates and instantaneously compare them with millions of hot list records to identify vehicles of interest. Hot lists may be updated manually or wirelessly.
